Here is what it said: You MUST be 18 years of age or older to purchase an iPhone because you must be able to enter into a valid contract with AT&T. *If you are part of a Family Plan with AT&T, the Primary Account holder must be present at the time of purchase. The following forms of ID are necessary to purchase and activate the iPhone: If you are new to AT&T Credit Card Social Security Number Valid U.S. Government-issues photo ID if porting a number, your account number & password *this is different than your phone number A deposit may be required A $36 activation fee will be charged to your new account If you are currently an AT&T customer Your AT&T phone number The last four numbers of your social security number Your Billing Zip Code ***The Apple Store can only sell iPhone for Persona rate plans.
