Ask Tii - How do you check the status of Apple Care / Warranty Coverage?

Hi Rob,

I received my ipad1 as a Christmas gift.

The person who bought it for me thinks he purchased AppleCare with it. But, can't remember for sure, and can't find the receipt. Is there an easy way to find out without bringing it in to an Apple store?

And then simply enter your serial number.
