In this segment of how wrong were they we have the following quote quote We will offer the first 64-bit Android Platform based on ARM’s own core [reference design]. For the second product after that we will offer even more optimized 64-bit based on our own optimization. So we are marching ahead with the 64-bit offering, and even though it’s a little too early, I think we are at the leader group in terms of 64-bit offerings. unquote
Stephen Woo, President of Samsung’s System LSI , 6 November 2013
I guess the leader group he is talking about is with regards to Android - because well by the time they actually release a 64 bit product and get software and an OS optimized for it - it will be close to a year behind the REAL and ONLY leader for 64 bit offerings for Mobile - you know that company Sammy likes to copy off of - that fruit named company we all love - I am curious if you work at Sammy and come up with an original idea - do they water board you - lock you in a hole until you forget or just use a power drill on your thigh. Just Sayin. Yes I just finished watching season two of Scandal

Rob,
I just got my pebble steel today and heard you say you got a pebble for Christmas. Know any must have apps?
David D Dick
Springfield MO
Hi David - First up there is the official Pebble App version 2.0 that was just released and version 2.0 has the pebble app store in it.
Or as Pebble says.
Quote
Thanks for upgrading to Pebble 2.0! This update unlocks exciting new genres of apps that leverage Pebble's built-in capabilities, plus a Notifications app for your recent notifications. Start exploring new Pebble apps via the Pebble appstore today.
Not all Pebble apps are currently compatible with Pebble 2.0. Below is a list of your previously downloaded apps that will no longer work on your Pebble:
The Pebble smartphone app will notify you when a compatible version of these apps become available in the appstore.
In the meantime, please join us in encouraging the developers of your favorite apps to release a 2.0-compatible update.
Thanks,
Team Pebble unquote
Except well smartwatch+ does still work you just need to update it to. Per the new apps in the Pebble App store - here are the 6 I installed and am using - well some of them at least.
Pebble Light - which is supposed to turn on the light on your iPhone - still have not gotten that to work.
SmartStatus - which requires that you also buy / download the stand alone smart status app - which I had already done.
Poker Timer - which is a texas holder tournament timer - and well not that simple to set up.
Timer - which well is pretty easy to use and it per the name a timer.
StopWatch - which is per the name a stop watch but only down to the tenths of a second and not the 100ths. Sad Face.
and
smartwatch+ - again something I had downloaded previously and requires the stand alone app to work.
So right now those are the 6 Pebble Apps I have installed - you can install up to 8. So I have two more to pick. And probably two more after I remove two of the six I have now.
Folks let me know what Pebble apps you are using.
Per the Notification setup - I can not get the Pebble to do set up that - I keep getting an error when trying to pair during the set up process.
That said I am still getting my notifications - via my set up with smartwatch+ - I am guessing there is a conflict there - vs Pebbles own notification support.
Again - the Pebble App store is in the Pebble App for iOS - which is a free app. Now while you don't pay for any apps in the Pebble App store - some do require you download an iOS companion app - and that is when / where you pay.
I should point out I am running iOS 7.1 beta 5 and maybe the issues I am seeing are do to running the beta.

PLAY AUDIO FLAPPYBIRD
How many people have heard of Flappy Bird - my guess by now quite a few. How many actually downloaded it and tried to play it - again my guess is probably quite a few.
It is a game that is successful despite it being nearly impossible to play. But what got it the most buzz and why I am mentioning it is that it is a game that at the height of its popularity - the developer yanked the free game from the app store. Giving a tweet warning 22 hours before he pulled it saying he was pulling it. The dev said he was not pulling it down for legal issues - just that it essentially became to successful and that is not what he wanted.
Huh??? That is what I said and what my wife said - something seemed fishy. I did reach out to the dev to ask about this - but I have not heard back from him - but then again neither did CNN.
There is a post out there saying this is a legal issue and the columns in Flappy bird's original version looked too much like the pedestals in Supper Mario. And that it was Nintendo that requested the app be removed - not Apple.
I don't know that sounds fishy too - after all when Apple wants to remove something they don't contact you asking you to take it down - they take it down and then kind of contact you saying your App is no longer included in the app store with some other vague message. Google is even worse - they yank it and then don't even give you anyone to talk to. At least with Apple there is someone you can contact. But in either case - Apple or google - from my own experience - App is yanked first and you are contacted second. Maybe they make an exception if the app is a run away success - Maybe.
Still looking at the artwork for Supermario bros - the pedestals looked kinda similar but not identical to the original flappy bird columns and less so with the update.
If the Dev for Flappy bird does reply to me or others I will update on this. Per those that have not played flappy bird - it really is a frustrating but addictive little game. You tap anywhere on the screen and you have to keep tapping to keep the bird in the air. Touch the ground or a column and game over.
I think the secret on why this works as a game - is that starting a new game is two quick taps - so even though you die quickly - you are able to try again quickly - and you get this optimistic belief that you will get better and beat your current high score - which for me is a sad 9. Yes I downloaded it prior to it being yanked. And no I am not selling my iPhone for >100k with the game installed like someone is doing on Ebay.
Let me know you high score on flappy bird - send an email to today in iOS at gmail dot com.

As mentioned early - I am running iOS 7.1 Beta 5 - so oh yeah - iOS 7.1 Beta 5 came out last week. So what are the great new features in iOS 7.1 beta 5 - what are the cool exciting new additions - really what are they - because I am not seeing them. Which is a good thing - as it usually means the new beta is getting close to release - hmmm - me thinks I said the same thing about beta 4 - well this time I mean it - I just Hope Apple means it to.
There are a couple of minor tweaks for beta 5 and they include quote natural sounding siri voice for English down under and on the main isles as well - plus for Japanese and Mandarin. As is normal with better sounding Siri - you will need for your iOS device to be connected via Wifi and plugged into a power source for it to download the improved siri voice files.
Another small detail peeps have found for beta 5 is a redesigned shift and caps lock keys.
And finally in wallpaper options - the button to disable parallax is now called Perspective zoom instead of Motion.
Again really exciting updates - if you realize they are not exciting and that means 7.1 gold master is getting closer - again.

Hi Rob,
Wondering if anyone else is having this issue. I have a 5s with iOS 7.0.4. I had the fingerprint issue, but that was improved by turning on the reduce motion option. But I am still having a fingerprint reader issue. Probably 2-4 times per day, after unlocking the device with the fingerprint reader, the phone either crashes and reboots immediately or upon opening an app.
Any thoughts on what could be causing this and how to correct it?
Thanks. Appreciate the show!
Randy
Pittsburgh, PA
I had some crashing issues with 7.0.4 as well - I can't remember any crashes with either beta 4 or beta 5 of iOS 7.1 - so about the best I can say is hang in there - iOS 7.1 is coming soon - I think.

I want to take a minute now to talk about today's sponsor. And that is Hover - if you go to hover.com and use promo code - tiibeta5 you can get 10% off your domain name registrations and transfers.
And today I am going to talk about Email - Hover offers up custom emails. Which if you are trying to look professional - you at your own domain dot com looks more impressive then your name 64 @ gmail dot com. I know I go to my rob@podcast411.com email when I am reaching out to someone new and trying to impress. Plus I am going to NAB in April and I got a press pass and one of the requirements was your email could not be from a free email account. So todayinios at gmail would not work - but rob@podcast411.com did.
Hover has great tutorials on how to set up your custom email for your iOS device as well as many other tutorials on setting up the email for other platforms and software.
Hovers email offering is everything you would be looking for - POP and IMAP - Webmail - 2Gig of storage - email forwarding and wait for it - Customer support. Yes with hover your get great customer support - which is one thing I hear back all the time form listeners that use hover - they love the customer support. All that for $20 a month. $35 a month gets you to 10 Gig of storage. Or $5 a month will get you email forwarding to your gmail account.
No matter which one you choose - it is much more professional sounding to have your name at your domain dot com - that something at gmail dot com.
Remember to save 10% on your registrations or email accounts go to hover.com - and use promo code tiibeta5 - that is tii beta 5 - as in the number 5 all one word. Isn't it time for you to like registering domain names again. Thanks Hover for supporting this show.

Hi Rob,
I have had sync issues from day one of IOS 7. It hasn't been restricted to my music library. I have a 5s and use a MacBook Air.
Scott, Milwaukee
Hi Rob.
A gentleman called regarding syncing his iPhone with iTunes. My iPhone 5s was not syncing my music and audiobooks with iTunes via USB to my MacBook. I was able to sync with my iPad and iPod. So I did a full restore of the iPhone. It is syncing now. So, I suggest doing an iPhone restore to remediate the problem.
Regards,
Janet
I just want to mention right now there are some price cuts kinda for iPads at Target - I say Kinda as you are actually getting Gift cards. From Feb 9th to the 15th target is giving out $50 Gift Cards when you buy an iPad. And on top of that Target is price Matching Best Buys price reduction of $349. And if you have a Redcard from Target you get $17.50 off. So Pricing of a $16 GB iPad Mini Retina drops from $399 - to $332.49 + tax and you get a $50 Target Gift Card. Not a bad deal this week. Target claims quantities are limited - no rain checks. But that is the best deal going on the iPad Mini Retina to date - check with your local target store for more info - and make sure you bring in the ad from best buy showing the $349.99 price. If you are thinking the iPad Mini Retina would make a good Valentines day gift for your significant other - I am sure a bunch of others will think that too - so get to Target ASAP before you are SOL.
Oh by the way iPad 2 prices dropped at some retailers - but since I do not recommend that device - I will not give details - other than to say Yes I know - but don't waste your money on a device that is over 1,000 days old - get the iPad Air or iPad Mini Retina - PERIOD.

Lots and lots of activity in our Google+ community.
Which is to be expected we now have over 400 Google+ users in that community.
There was a question from Emiko about recommended Password Keeping apps - 1Password recommend most - and I would add my support there. There were also suggestions for Last Pass by a couple of people and PWSafe also by a couple of people.
There was a post about Flappy Bird going away the next day - which it did. Thanks Myron Uecker for that post.
There was a post about WWE channel coming to Apple TV on Feb 24th. And once again Apple TV adds another dare we call it an App.
There was talk about the post on Cult of Mac talking about putting your iPhone into Airplane mode to get a quicker charge. If that really is your goal heck why not just power it off completely.
And well there were dozens of other posts - and all in an Android bois free zone. Yup it is the most civil Google+ community covering iOS.
Go to today in iOS dot com slash community to join in.
And thanks to all 400+ of you already in the community and contributing.

One thing I hate about the Apple Walled garden is when Apple gets out the roundup and starts spraying apps that should not be sprayed.
Take for example BlockChain - which was the most popular Bitcoin wallet in the App store - Apple went into great detail about why this was necessary oh wait - never mind they did not give a specific reason on why they pulled it down - per the CEO of Blockchain. The app is currently used by about 120,000 people - so it is not like they are going to put that jeanie back in the bottle. Maybe Apple should have thought of yanking it after the first few hundred downloads - not after it has over 120,000 people using it.
Prior to getting pulled down - Blockchain was the openly bitcoinish app on the Marketplace - A couple of others were yanked last year.
Now if you are jailbroken the Blockchain app is now available via the big boss repository in Cydia.
I Don't agree with Apple in this case - and think this app which has been downloaded so ofter and for so long - over a year - should not have been pulled down. It is actions like this that drive - push - cattle prod some iOS users over to Android.
Sure not ALL apps belong in the Apps store and Apple needs to protect users - but in this case it seems more like Apple protecting their own future business plans and nothing to do with issues for the end users. But then again - since Apple said nothing we are only left to speculate on Apples motives - which again do not look good this time around.
http://www.tuaw.com/2014/02/07/breaking-everything-we-know-about-the-iphone-6/
24:44
There is a post over on TUAW that I want to read to you verbatim - I don't often do that - but I think this one deserves it. First the title of the post quote - Breaking: EVERYTHING we know about the iPhone 6 unquote. And per the text of the post it is quote We know exactly nothing about the iPhone 6.
Neither does any other site.
We hope this helps. unquote
This post was by Erika Sudan - and is one of the few if not the only honest post with regards to the iPhone 6 out there.
No one and I mean no one in the tech press knows anything about the iPhone 6. Nothing - Zip - Nada - not the release date - not the units size - not any new features - and not even if it will be called the iPhone 6 for that mater. Sure there is speculation that the screen glass will be replaced by Saphire - but that is speculation at best - and well also a lot of hope. And if it is replaced by Saphire - there is no way to tell if it will be 4 inches - 4.5 Inches - 5 Inches or some other size.
So for those asking about waiting in line for others in June for an iPhone 6 - that is well putting the cart way way way out in front of the horse - and per the June date - that just does not make any sense at all - Apple just said in their last quarterly conference call - one issue with iPhone sales in the US has been carriers switching to a strict 2 year upgrade window. So really you need to look at when the iPhone 5 launched to see when Apple is most likely to launch the iPhone 6. And by the way that would be September 21st 2012 for US availability. Apple is likely going to try to be as close to that 2 year date as possible for the next iPhone launch.

26:53
Ok - time to talk a little bit About Sapphire and the iPhone.
There has been a whole lot of speculation going on Per Apples agreement with GT advanced Technologies - ticker symbol GTAT - Where Apple will pay them 578 Million dollars for Saphire - Some are saying this will be for the screen of the iPhone 6
And it should be pointed out the money is a pre-pay from Apple for equipment that will be in a plant Apple will provide the facility in Arizona - where GT AT will own and operate the furnaces and equipment used to grow cut slurry and polish the Saphire plates. Now I did look over the materials on the GT equipment and it is possible to grow up to a 8" core. Which would be right about where you would need it to be to cut out a 5" smartphone screen.
Per the $578 Million - this is something apple can do because they did not give back all their money like Carl Ichan wants. Apple invests their money strategically to help build up their supply chain to get them unique components that when combined with other off the shelf components and apples software - makes a product that that competition can't equal.
One of the biggest questions at this point is not longer will Apple put Sapphire on the iPhone instead of Gorilla glass - but when will Appel put Sapphire on the iPhone. GTAT said in November they were entering into at least a 5 year deal. So it does not mean the next iPhone will have Sapphire. But if I had to bet - I would be betting the next iPhone does have Sapphire for the screen.
This would be a big blow to those selling warranties and protective cases - as now when you drop your sapphire incrusted iPhone on the ground - it is highly highly unlikely you would crack the screen.
Android Phone manufacturers will be forced to respond and their solution likely will be to go with plastic screens. Wait and watch and see. I bet with in 6 months of the first iPhone launching with Sapphire - we will see a higher end Android released with a plastic screen singing the praises of it not cracking when dropped. They will conveniently forget to mention how easy it will scratch.
GTAT will have its next quarterly call in the next couple of weeks - hopefully there will be something revealed in that call which will give us more insight about when they plan in shipping in bulk to Apple.

Hey Rob, heard you recommend the T Mo pad. I agree it makes it easier to get the 200 mb but I heard it is not possible to put one on Verizon. It sounds like Verizon must have imei # in their system to use their service. So you would have to buy a Verizon version to start with.
Cheers, Duane
Hi Duane,
There are a lot of conflicting reports out there on this subject. Most of this is because it was not the case with older versions of iPads.
But from what I understand to be the case NOW - Any iPad Air or iPad Mini Retina purchased for Sprint, AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile in the US - will work on any of the other 3 carriers in the US.
You might need to visit said carrier to get it activated - but that said - you can get it to work with the other carriers if you want it to.
Which is why I recommend going with t-mobile to start - just use their 200 MB free account - and if that winds up not being enough or t-mobile speeds suck in your neck of the woods - then you switch to one of the others.
I included a link in the show notes titled How to Use Your Unlocked iPad Air on Any Carrier from PCMag.com with more info on this.

Hi Rob,
What do you think about this article - where Steve Wozniak thinks Apple should build an Android smartphone.
Regards,
Nathan
Hi Nathan,
Woz says some wild things from time to time.
The value of the iPhone vs Android phones is not just the fit and finish - it is also iOS.
I don't see Apple ever making an Android powered iPhone - Never Ever - no way no how.
Putting that crap security nightmare software on a device with the Apple logo - Woz clearly was talking tongue in cheek or maybe smoked one to many that day - whatever the case it will not ever happen.
I wonder if these comments were made when Woz was visiting Colorado. Ok I know he was not in Colorado when he said - but he sure sounds like he was.

Hi Rob,
I wanted to write you as an apple guy who wanted to give android a try I purchased a Nexus 5 on it’s release date Halloween 2013. I tried it for four months and just sold it today and am back using my old iPhone 4. I use a haswell macbook air as my daily pc and the truth is you can not match the interoperability between iPhone and the macbook. Nothing android has works as well as iMessage or FaceTime. My old iPhone is a better experience and I have come to realize it is all about the software. Android has come a long way to be fair and the nexus hardware was very nice especially the screen but IOS is still the professionals choice. Please share this with your listeners who may be thinking the grass is greener on the other side it just is not so. I have invested the Nexus 5 proceeds to fund my 5 inch iPhone 6 purchase this September ;)
I do enjoy your podcast.

Hi Rob,
There was a listener(s) on the last episode having an issue where some songs would not sync to his iPhone. The thing that works for me in these cases (even with things other than music, such as videos) is to connect your phone with the cable (not use wi-fi sync) go to the Music tab for your phone in iTunes, uncheck Sync Music, sync your phone (removing all music), recheck Sync Music, then sync again. This may take a little while depending on the amount of music you sync.
Also, you mentioned the trick of using a keyboard shortcut to enter your e-mail address. One small note I've discovered is that when entering it in a field on a web page, after you hit the spacebar to paste it in, hit backspace to remove the space. Some web forms have an issue with the space character, which isn't allowed in e-mail addresses. Alternatively, you can use the "next field" arrow button above the keyboard (if it available) instead of the spacebar.
Bonus tip: if you're like me and call your wife after leaving work, then listen to audio (like music or Tii) for the rest of the trip, start your music first, then make the call. Your music will fade down for the call and will automatically resume after the call, preventing you from having to fumble with your phone while driving.

Lou Valencia

For those that know what the Padcaster is but have an iPad Mini - well good news - there is now a kickstarter project for the Padcaster Mini - it will run until March 6th at 12:19 PM CT. The goal on this is $15,000 - and they have raised over 10k so far - so they look good to hit the goal.
Pricing for the Padcaster mini is $99.
For those that are going ok Rob - what is the Padcaster - well it is a quote tough aluminum frame with threaded holes and a flexible insert to secure your iPad mini for shooting iPad video unquote. You can add in external lenses for the iPad Mini to improve the optics. You can mount lights and mics - and well the original was even featured in one of apples Ads. So yeah it is kind of special. If you are serious about shooting video and want to use your iPad Mini to shot, edit, encode and upload video - you should take a look at the Padcaster. I have seen a couple of the originals in action by Video Bloggers and it is a nice accessory to help manage the other accessories around your iPad for shooting video. I mean shooting video with an iPad with out a Padcaster looks hookie at best - but with the Padcaster it actually looks professional. Search for Padcaster - P A D caster at kickstarter dot com.

As I mentioned - I talked with bunch of Kickstarter and indiegogo developers where I had mentioned their projects in the past - one I mentioned in the past was the smart cargo for Apple Smart Cover - well that developer has a new project called the Cargo Stand. Here is the recording I did with Dotan. Please note before listening - that he actually canceled this project - more about that after the interview.
PLAY CARGO STAND Recording
Quick note - that recording was done with my iPhone 5S - the iRig Mic Cast Mic and recorded into the BossJock App.
As I mentioned Dotan canceled this project and the reason Dotan cancelled the Kickstarter project was not do to to little interest - but actually the opposite - he found a lot of interest with some of that coming from quote numerous prominent mobile accessory makers about the possibility of having one of them build and distribute the Cargo Stand under their own brand. unquote
So I guess Dotan - Congrats on these developments and it sounds like we will be hearing more about this in the coming months. i.e. before the holidays.

Facebook launches the Paper App - no they did not purchase the Paper app - you know that other App named Paper that has been around for like Ever - nope - they just released their own app called paper - because evidently Facebook could not be bothered to search for Paper in iTunes and the original Paper app by FiftyThree was you know App of the Year in 2012. So this is not some obscure app. That would be the Paper app from Lee Sunja. So yes - there are now at least three Paper apps in the iTunes app store. So thanks Facebook for showing you are either too lazy or too arrogant to look at what is out there when picking an app name.
I have received some positive feedback from listeners that have used the 3rd App to use the paper name - the one from Facebook. So it does sound like if you are a Facebook users - this app is worth checking out - given it is free. The App is optimized for an iPhone running iOS 7.x - it is not meant for the iPad.
The full title in iTunes for the app is Paper dash Stories from Facebook - if you were planning on searching for it. Here is what Facebook had to say about the app. Quote:
We're introducing Paper, a new app that helps you explore and share stories from friends and the world around you. Paper makes storytelling more beautiful with an immersive design and fullscreen, distraction-free layouts. We’ve also made it easier to craft and share beautiful stories of your own.
Your Paper is made of stories and themed sections, so you can follow your favorite interests. The first section in Paper is your Facebook News Feed, where you’ll enjoy inspiring new designs for photos, videos, and longer written posts. You can customize Paper with a choice of more than a dozen other sections about various themes and topics—from photography and sports to food, science and design. Each section includes a rich mix of content from emerging voices and well-known publications. unquote.

A quick heads up for those with iPad Mini's and looking for a case and keyboard for it. The Clam Case Pro for iPad Mini was just announced - it will run you $129 bucks for which you get a case with a nice keyboard for your iPad Mini Retina - essentially turning your iPad mini Retina into a little netbook - but you know one you actually want to use and is not a piece of junk. Past versions of the clam case have had really positive reviews from listeners. This is something I am looking at for the wife for Christmas.
Already have her Birthday and Valentines day covered - both are this week - back to back. FYI - Guys when you wife asks where you are going to dinner for Valentines day - a response of Oh really you want to go out this year - ummm - bad response - really bad response - don't know what I was thinking. Proper response - Its a surprise - which we all know means - it is a surprise to me too - because I need to call tomorrow and see where I can get a reservation.

Hi Rob,
Long time listener here, just wanted to thank you first of all for a great show over the years. I've been a listener since I purchased a 3G many years ago.
As a long time listener and "friend" of the show I wanted to let you know of my concerns about the tone of recent shows. The negativity and snarkiness of recent shows has made them largely unlistenable. I always thought your greatest strength was following the evolution of IOS in an informed and upbeat manner. The occasional dig at other OS's were charming and innocent. That is no longer the case. Beating up other companies by banging financial numbers over their heads is neither entertaining nor informative.
I am someone who makes his living recruiting engineering talent for electronics manufacturers, and I am sensitive that poor performance by a company and their products effects potentially thousands of workers and their families. It's nothing to gloat about.
I hope you take this criticism positively, as your show once emphasized the positive.
Best Regards,
Tom M
Hi Tom,
Thanks for the feedback.
But as long as Samsung continues to copy Apple - I will continue to take digs at them. Samsung in my mind and by their own actions and admissions is an evil company with no ethics. Whenever I can give them a kick in the ribs on the show - I will do so gladly. As long as they continue their evil ways.
Per Google and their numbers - it is clearly a bubble - there is no logical or rational explanation for their market cap.
And I was contrasting their market cap and revenue to that of Apples to point out something is really askew.
I am sorry if you feel I am being overtly negative - but I do not see any of my comments effecting any of these companies.
As an FYI - I was an engineer in the electronic components industry for 16 years. Designing and working with Quartz Crystal oscillators. I am very familiar with the electronics industry as quartz crystal oscillators are used in just about everything. I saw first hand in that industry what happened to US and European manufacturing when companies in Asia with the same approach and ethics of Samsung copied the designs of those that did the research and development to come up with cutting edge products. It was not good for those in the US and Europe.
I hope you continue to listen to the show - because the majority of the content is about tips and tricks and breaking news - but I do like to have a segment or two where I kick Android and Samsung a little - and I try to limit it to just a few per episode. It helps remind people why they need to stay away from that security nightmare / malware infested platform known as Android.
Regards,
Rob W

I had quite a few people send in links or mention an episode of Security now where Steve Gibson talks about over training your finger prints to improve accuracy.
How do you do this - Well
- Launch the Settings app and tap on General.
- Tap on Touch ID & Passcode and enter your numerical passcode when prompted.
- Now tap on Touch ID.
- Here you see a list of all your registered fingerprints. Place one of your registered fingers on the Touch ID sensor. The registered print will pulse grey. What you should then do is keep lifting and tapping on the home button while moving your finger around to make sure you get as much of the finger print covered as possible. Don't just keep tapping the same please over and over - you want to get as much of your finger over trained as possible.

Now I thought all of this sounded familiar - and well that is because back in October - Apple released a document about touch ID - that said quote" Touch ID will incrementally add new sections of your fingerprint to your enrolled fingerprint data to improve matching accuracy over time. unquote.
So yes - Apple does validate what Steve Gibson and some others have also said - repeated scans of your finger print improves the accuracy - especially if you give it more and more of your finger print to look at.
Still make sure you turn on reduce motion - as that helps with accuracy - well at least for quite a few people.

There is a link in the show notes to a video up on the Apple site - the link is titled - Apple - Thirty Years of Mac. Yes - this is an iOS show - not a mac show - but I point out the video - because all of it was shot and recorded on a single day around the world on iPhone 5S's - 15 different iPhone 5S's to be precise. It is just amazing how good that video looks - and it reminds you just how powerful that iPhone 5S camera really is.

Rob
I sent a message about having issues with my phone playing music after a call and I said I was on iOS 6.0 but I am on 6.1.2 if you can just make a comment that I made that correction after you play the recording I would appreciated.
Thanks
Hector

I was a guest on MacVoices - The MacJury last week - and the video just went up - I was on there with Chuck Joiner the Host, Peter Cohen from iMore and the Loop and Chuck La Tournous from Mac Observer. We were talking about some of our favorite and more interesting iOS and Mac accessories. It is worth checking out now that this episode is coming to a close. Take a look in the show note for the post titled - MacVoices The MacJury - it runs about an hour and is available both in Audio and Video.

Thanks again to our sponsor Hover dot com - remember for new users use promo code TiiBeta5 one word to get 10% off your purchase. Hover is who I manage all my domains with and I really do love their service and recommend them even when they are not advertising on the show. Again use promo code TiiBeta5 as in the number 5 to save 10% when you first purchase a domain name with Hover.
If you want to know when new episodes go up - look at the Tii app - not just the best way to consume the show - but also a great way to get a push message when a new episode goes live or there is other iOS breaking news. Just $2.99 in the app store - it helps you get the most out of the show and it helps support the show at the same time - plus it makes it really easy to email or call the show with your feedback. Again just search for Tii in the iTunes app store.
And Before we go today I want to remind you to send in your feedback to the show - 206-666-6364 - that 206-moon-dog - or record your feedback and email it to the show at today in iOS at gmail dot com - The feedback can be a question or comment per something someone said on this episode or it can be a question or rant you have about something else. An App or product review - good or bad - as long as it is iOS related - it is welcomed. I am always looking for new Artwork to feature that you created on an iOS device - just put some Tii branding on it and send it in. And of course we are always looking for more music created on an iOS device to play on the show. This is your show and your feedback is greatly desired. And don't forget to check out our new Moderated Google Plus community by going to todayinios dot com slash community.
And that folks is going to do it for us today.
