There is a video out there for a product called Stunfone. And you can see the video at Stunfone.com Most people yours truly included think this is a hoax - a well done hoax - but a hoax none the less. They have a second video claiming it is not a hoax and on the 12th will have a live demo. but I think it is the way the first video was done that screams hoax. But still I have to give it to them for a good idea - Hoax wise that is. FYi if you did not figure it out stunfone is an attachment for your iphone that turns it into a stun gun, which they demo in their video by stun gunning three people. A buddy, a karate master they found on Craigslist, and the cheating boyfriend of a women scorned. Yeah - can't imagine why most people think this is a hoax. Jeff the guy in the MIT shirt says the following in comments to an article about this at the LA Times:
because I might like to be playful with my words, I'm invalidated from being genuine and/or sophisticated enough to have made this? Thankfully I pay it no mind because I believe it was Aristotle who said, "Haters gunna hate".
Below is the email you get if you sign up for info. Again this screams HOAX. If it is not - then it is brilliant marketing to get people talking about it. Either way they did a great job in getting people talking about it.
