In episode 179 Mitch left a voicemail re his iBooks closing frequently. I had the same issue being jailbroken myself but found the conflict. I have action menu from cydia on my phone and once I turned it off from my settings menu my iBooks no longer shuts down. I found my answer surfing google as always. It seems to be a common issue.
