iPhone 5S and 5C launch day reports

 I have my Space Grey 5s 64 gb iPhone.  It was not my first or second choice - but it was my third.  

 

Based on the feed back below - that seems to be many peoples feelings - at least the ones of us lucky enough to get an iPhone 5S today.  Right now based on the initial feedback it seems today's launch went very very poorly.  You don't want people waiting in line for 3, 4, 10 or more hours walking away with out their first choice.  

 

Leawood KS - Apple Store -  No Gold 5S, Limited stock of Silver 5S and none at 64 GB, No Sprint iPhones.

Orlando - AT&T - Only Space Grey 5S

Glendale WI - Apple Store - No Gold 5S

Springfield MO - AT&T - only Space Grey 5S 64GB

Minneapolis MN - Apple Store - Only Space Grey 5S

Palisades Mall NY - Apple Store - Only Space Grey 5S - 16/32 GB only

Clifton NJ - AT&T - Only Space Grey 5S

Paris France - Bouygues Telecom - Only Space Grey 5S

Michigan - Apple Store - No Verizon 5S - just 2 Gold 5S over all 

Saddle Creek - Apple Store - Only Space Grey 5S

Reports from thos that ordered on line were 1. There was no pick up option - so you need to be in line if you want to get an iPhone 5S today.  and 2. Those that their orders did not go through until 30 minutes or more after orders started are reporting October 10th delivery dates.  

 

2:00 AM CT 

I arived in line at 1:30 AM - I was 26th in line.

 

Apple employees already warned the line there will be very limited stock of the iPhone 5S - especially the Gold version.
