  • Chris - I will gather my full thoughts and talk about that at the end of the next show.

  • Hi Rob, can you give your thoughts on Steve Jobs and how he impacted your life. I'm very sad that he passed today and I feel for his family. The world is different and better because of him.

  • Hi Bryan, Sorry to loose you as a listener. However I don't feel I was being negative as much as being accurate. This is my Next, BGR, digitimes and others go out and post comments from "unnamed sources" all the time and they have to know the stuff is BS. Yes it is possible they are being hoodwinked - but more likely they know there is ZERO consequence for spreading the BS - actually it always seems to help them - as they release the BS months earlier it brings in lots of traffic and later on when they were wrong - all is forgotten. Except this time I think many of the rumors have lead directly to many feeling what was clearly a great release - as something sub-par. This mainly based on un-realistic expectations based on unnamed sources and rumors. Again - sorry to loose you as a listener - but part of my show has always been on reviewing the news out there. In this case I called BS on This is my Next when they first reported it - and some gave me grief for doing it then - and as I fully expected - some (yourself included) are taking exception with my comments this time. That is ok - I can live with that - this is not a popularity contest for me or about link baiting - it is about putting out a show - where I can say 100% of the time I said something I believe in and I can help bring accurate and thoughtful news and reporting to my listeners. Yes sometimes I am wrong - but not because it was something I said I knew was wrong or had no chance of being real or I claim is attributed to some "unnamed source". • Rob, What you have here is a great show. I respect what you have to say and you consistency. Unfortunately this will more than likely be my last listen to your show. It appears that several of the other podcast / websites have gotten under your skin and you have become a bit combative. Personally I like this is my next. Yes they did miss on this one. That said I dont feel that I was purposely misled and I would need solid proof before I publicly called them liars. My issue is not you calling them out. When someone is public wrong they are publicly wrong. My issue is the tone and veracity. This is your show and you do a great job. Keep up the good work. I just prefer listening to my tech news from people who dont feel the need to be so negative. Respectfully, Bryan PS I bought your app after the first show. I believe in supporting those who provide a good service.

  • Rob, can you give us some pointers on deciding whether to stick with AT&T or move to Sprint? Thanks! I've been listening to your podcast since the beginning, and it's been a great!
